About The Position

About the Team The New Verticals team is building the future of local commerce through expanding our product offerings on our marketplace platform. We launched in 2020 and have since then built world-class operations to delight our customers with access to Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, and Retail delivery through our marketplace. The Retail Strategy & Operations team has expanded into industries like pets, beauty, flowers, office supplies, home improvement, apparel and so much more. About the Role We’re hiring an Associate on the Retail Strategy & Operations team to drive growth across key retail moments and merchant campaigns by scaling high-impact tentpole activations and improving how we deploy promotions and CRM. This role will lead experimentation across offer structures, audience segments, and lifecycle moments to maximize incremental Retail GOV, while managing a quarterly promo budget and owning measurable growth outcomes. You’ll also partner cross-functionally to refine push/email strategy and optimize merchant-funded and integrated marketing campaigns. You’ll be an individual contributor reporting into an Associate Manager. We operate in a hybrid environment and spend a few days a month in person together! Translate sales-cycles and GTM needs into requirements and co-lead product feature development Lead, collaborate and Influence. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and external vendors to unlock partnerships, growth and quality to scale retail presence across the country. You are constantly chasing new tools and ways to become more efficient and know where, when and how to use AI. You’re equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet and 1 foot. You don’t hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you’re just as comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team. You’re unafraid of ambiguity. Rapid change and learning is exciting to you, and you thrive in ambiguous, startup environments where you can be creative and scrappy.
