Requirements

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
2+ years of customer service experience
Beginner level of proficiency with medical terminology

Nice To Haves

Medical receptionist experience
Bilingual Spanish/English

Responsibilities

Greet patients and complete the check-in and check-out process accurately and professionally
Verify patient demographics and insurance information at each visit
Check insurance eligibility
Answer incoming calls promptly and provide accurate information or route calls appropriately
Schedule, reschedule and cancel patient appointments as needed
Work on the No Future Appointment list to ensure patients are scheduled appropriately
Reschedule patients who did not show for their appointments and document outreach
Manage daily tasks in the EHR system, including scanning documents and updating patient records
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines
Provide excellent customer service while supporting clinic flow and provider schedules
Other duties as assigned
