A day in the life. As our Associate Vice President on the Personal Lines team, you’ll be responsible for the following: The primary function of this position is to provide the highest quality service to customers, sell new lines of coverage, cross sell within the existing book of business, and manage a team. The role is the main point of contact between the insurance company (MIB) and clients (Business Managers and/or high net worth individuals) and will provide daily guidance and oversight to the team of support staff responsible for processing transactions of an assigned book of business. Must have extensive experience in their field to include constant expansion of knowledge about new products and services available to suit the needs of each client. An insurance designation or related classes will be required or may be substituted with at least 15-20 years of work experience in insurance. As Associate Vice President, greater accountability to develop support staff; evaluate the effectiveness of work output and workflows of their teams; ensure company policies and SOG’s are followed as designed; and to develop and track annual business goals to increase sales and maximum retention of book value. Nice To Haves

  • College Degree preferred (high school diploma is required)
  • Current California Department of Insurance License
  • 10 years of experience
  • Proficient MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
