About The Position

The Crossings Community Church (CCC) Edmond location Audio Engineer will mix front of house (FOH), Monitors (MON) and/or Broadcast (BCST) for Sunday services, rehearsals and special events as needed.

Requirements

Exhibit a passion to walk with people in their faith development.
Be a proven and effective leader in the areas of responsibility attached to this position.
A multi-tasking team player with high energy, strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Possess a current unrestricted driver’s license.
Be able to walk a long distance (up to a quarter of a mile); and be able to lift and carry 25-35 lbs. parcels for distances of up to 500 feet.
Possess a current unrestricted driver’s license.
This is a safety sensitive position where the employee holding this position has the responsibility of his/her own safety and the safety of others including minors.

Responsibilities

Listen to each setlist ahead of time on planning center services to learn songs
Arrive early and verify that all inputs are working correctly
Verify that all wireless microphones are patched correctly and have full battery
Verify Recording patch (Copy Audio) and make sure everything is being recorded
Recall personal mixer presets before band starts checking
Setup Multitrack recording and follow disk space management procedures
Mix in-ear mixes which aren’t tied to personal mixers
Verify audio feed from the Sanctuary is working
Attend pre-service talk through with entire team
Mix FOH audio for Sunday services
Make sure wireless microphones are put away after service
Maintain a professional demeanor, hygiene and appearance
Be respectful of the beliefs of Crossings Community Church members and staff
Assist in maintaining the highest possible ministry standards and professional ethics in accordance with the goals, Purpose Statement, and Core Values of Crossings Community Church.
Support the leadership of CCC, contributing to the spirit of unity among the staff and congregation.
Represent Crossings in civic and ministry-related efforts as approved.
Perform any other tasks as may be assigned to fulfill the role and responsibilities of this position or as assigned
