Requirements

  • Top Secret - IT-I security clearance, Tier 5/SSBI Investigation.
  • Ten (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Requires one of the following: AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification Completed Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification AVIXA CTS Certification
  • Able to lift equipment in excess of 50 pounds.
  • Must have a valid US Passport

Responsibilities

  • Travel within assigned zones and provide augmentation support to other zones as needed.
  • Support SES and Military officer conference and meeting spaces.
  • Install, pull, terminate, and test all audio-visual (AV) cables, connectors, and interfaces.
  • Install projection screens, plasma displays, and multiple types of speakers.
  • Perform installation of AV systems at client sites.
  • Read blueprints and wire AV racks.
  • Serve as Lead Audio-Visual Engineer and manage AV projects involving various equipment models and makes.
  • Perform testing, analysis, and corrective actions on systems, networks, hardware, and software.
  • Apply thorough knowledge of wire types and connector types for all AV-related cabling.
  • Work with AV equipment, internet-based video solutions, switchers, codecs, interfaces, and room design.
  • Access classified areas to support Enterprise JWICS hardware installation and troubleshooting (no SIPR/JWICS user account required).
