About The Position

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Audio Visual - IT , the Audio Visual Technician - IT provides in-depth technical design, installation and support for all audio visual (A/V) systems. –This role provides training and ongoing support to end users and manages the day to day enterprise requests.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of audio-visual related experience, which includes working directly with projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and LCD/Plasma displays required.
  • General technical aptitude in audio visual technology, computers or networking.
  • Requires knowledge of network hardware and software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure that a non-technical end user and/or senior executive can understand.
  • Ability to create a positive and professional business relationship with internal and external clients.
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
  • Ability to work any assigned shift (day/swing/graveyard).
  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
  • As a condition of employment and shift rotations, candidates and incumbents may be required to pass pre- and post-employment screening including Live-Scan, background, drug testing, and tuberculosis (TB) testing.
  • Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with digital signage software such as Industry Weapon, Crestron, Orange Door, and SpinetiX is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set-ups, tests and operates a variety of A/V equipment including, but not limited to, microphones, speakers, projectors, video screens, and video monitors.
  • Performs necessary maintenance and repairs of all equipment and expedite maintenance issues as necessary to appropriate service vendors.
  • Transports, set-ups, removes and operates A/V equipment for onsite meetings and events.
  • Operates digital signage and audio software to meet enterprise requirements around music genres, volume and input/outputs.
  • Provides technical support for personal computer (PC) and peripheral devices, as needed.
  • Supports Audio and video streaming platforms to ensure correct content is being delivered to the appropriate areas.
  • Tracks and maintains inventory of A/V equipment leveraging a centralized asset management database.
  • Performs onsite and remote testing for the Yaamava’ Resort & Casino and all Tribal locations.
  • Documents troubleshooting and resolution steps via the existing knowledge base program to reduce resolve time.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
