What is the opportunity? The Internal Audit (IA) Manager – Regulatory Reporting will support the team in providing independent, objective assurance over the design and execution of the Bank’s regulatory reporting for US Financial Regulators. What will you do? Key responsibilities are to participate in and support audit engagements/projects primarily focusing on Finance Regulatory Reports, including control, conformance and end-to-end transaction testing. This will include coverage for various reports including FY Y9C, 2052a, FFIEC 041, FFIEC 031, FFIEC 002/002a, FR Y-14A/Q/M and other TIC reports. Support the refresh of the IA regulatory reporting coverage approach and associated risk assessment at the report level. Perform quarterly continuous risk monitoring activities for the Finance portfolio and conducting issue verification as they are closed by the issue owners. Deliver key insights to management and supporting functions. Leveraging expertise in business strategy to support the audit function and the organization with actionable insights to drive ongoing success. Supports the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, audit approach, and related practices with particular emphasis towards collaboration with key partners, leveraging the use of analytics, business intelligence, and other enabling approaches, technologies, and tools. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Bachelors degree 3+ years of experience in Internal Audit Experience drafting and negotiating findings and audit reports. Strong understanding of risk governance frameworks for banking organizations. Nice-to-have Board experience, regulatory background, consulting/public accounting experience. Experience working for large scale, matrixed organizations. Risk management experience within the first or second line of defense. What’s in it for you?
