About The Position

Automotive Parts Manager We are currently looking for an Automotive Parts Manager to join our Hondru Chevrolet team! As our Parts Manager, your primary responsibility is supporting our customers with their automotive parts needs in person, by phone, and by email. As well as supporting and assisting our service technicians with their parts needs to complete vehicle repairs. We are looking for someone who can provide positive customer and team interactions with genuine respect and courtesy. Attention to detail and following through are essential to this position. Prior automotive parts experience is required.

Requirements

  • Desire to provide excellent customer service, driven to help serve others.
  • Previous automotive parts management experience required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License, with a good driving record.
  • Ability to complete required training requirements (compliance, safety, etc.).
  • Willingness to learn and excel at your career goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations for the parts department.
  • Maintain a balanced inventory for service, body shop, and customer needs.
  • Oversee and monitor parts inventory, receiving, stocking, and returns.
  • Develop and maintain a business relationship with wholesale customers.
  • Assist customers in person, by phone, and by email.
  • Assist the service department, body shop, and other team members as needed.
  • Supervise the delivery and pick up of parts.
  • Ensure purchases and paperwork are properly accounted for.
  • Lead, train, and develop the parts department staff.
  • Comply with the manufacturer's standards as well as dealership guidelines.
