About The Position

Milestone Technologies is looking for a technician with a passion for live events, audio-visual experience, and a commitment to program excellence to join our Event Operations Team. The Event Operations Team provides comprehensive event production services, including technical coordination, presentation setup and support, AV/VC services, streaming, and management.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in technical support of large events
• Experience owning an event end to end from event request to technical execution
• Operational experience with event production equipment audio mixers, microphones, video switchers, etc.
• Previous experience in customer-facing or client support role
• Versed in Apple OS, presentation software like Keynote, and PPT
• Some exposure to video conferencing, streaming
• HS Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Review client requests and provide technical direction for the planning, scheduling, and, delivery of services
• Operate PTZ cameras, video switchers, digital audio mixers, and Crestron routing systems‚ for large and medium scale events
• Manage streaming encoding and quality during live events, trim and deliver recorded events
• Act as the technical point person during board meetings and high-profile conference calls
• Oversee vendor technicians on larger scale events
• Train incoming vendor and Helpdesk technicians on events best practices
• Contribute to documentation of on-site equipment and protocols
