About The Position

They are looking for Experienced AV Techs with at least 1+ year of xperience configuring and installing racks, camera's, microphones, conferencing equipment and TV's to a central system. AV Tech preferably should have hand’s on experience working with Cisco room kits, Extron, Crestron, or Bi-amp. Always helpful to ask candidates to provide a scope of work they have completed with these types of products for context. The AV tech will need to have experience using punch down tool with 66 and 110 blades, snipes and knife and will be doing punch downs in the com closets and terminating jacks. The AV should have strong understanding of low voltage wiring and NEC requirement. They will be working with perm Intellicom staff. The AV Tech will be working in a client facing environment and should be presentable and professional. The AV tech will be working with Intellicom’s local clients completing AV installation work, cabling work as necessary and troubleshooting as needed. AV tech should have the ability to install and test AV equipment in order to make sure its operational before leaving the jobsite. The AV tech will be responsible for making sure all cabling is neat and hidden from site as much as possible. The AV tech is required to have their own personal labtop for configurations or for the corp office to remote login to assist with configs. Top Reasons techs don't work out: 1. Not showing up or calling in at the last min 2. Late 3. On their Phone 4. Attitude. They don't like cancers that delay progress and are boat anchors to the rest of the team.

Requirements

Experienced AV Techs with at least 1+ year of xperience configuring and installing racks, camera's, microphones, conferencing equipment and TV's to a central system
Experience using punch down tool with 66 and 110 blades, snipes and knife
Strong understanding of low voltage wiring and NEC requirement
Ability to install and test AV equipment
Own personal labtop for configurations
Must be able to climb a 8-10ft ladder
Must have a vehicle to travel to jobsites each week
Must have a credit card for expenses which will be reimbursed according to expense benchmarks
