About The Position
Separate containers to include scrap metal, wood, cardboard, plastics, styrofoam and other recyclables. Bale plastic and cardboard, dispose of non-recyclable materials to correct location.
Requirements
- Dependable, honest, strong work ethic, professional appearance and hygiene, work well independently and with a team
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Able to kneel, crawl, and squat periodically.
- Able to stand, twist, and walk for majority of shift.
- Able to reach above head and shoulders
Responsibilities
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols
- Separate materials to correct locations
- Operating recycling baler and equipment
- Processing materials once bales
- Perform other duties as assigned
