About The Position

The Beach Volleyball Player Development & Operations Assistant plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the University of North Florida Beach Volleyball program. This position focuses on practice and competition logistics, administrative coordination, and operational efficiency while assisting with on-court player development as needed. The role is ideal for an individual seeking hands-on experience in collegiate athletics operations within an NCAA Division I beach volleyball program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or working toward completion)
  • Experience in beach volleyball, athletics operations, or team support roles
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel

Nice To Haves

  • Previous collegiate athletics operations or team management experience
  • Familiarity with video exchange or performance software
  • Interest in a career in collegiate athletics operations, coaching, or administration

Responsibilities

  • Assist coaches with practice organization, drill setup, and time management
  • Support on-court activities as directed, including ball management and drill flow
  • Help ensure practices and competitions run efficiently and on schedule
  • Assist with video organization, film exchange, and basic performance breakdown
  • Support recruiting operations as permitted by NCAA rules (databases, film organization, visit logistics support)
  • Help maintain team calendars, schedules, and internal communications
  • Assist with compliance documentation and administrative tracking as directed
  • Assist with individual and small-group training sessions as directed by coaching staff
  • Provide feedback and reinforcement consistent with program standards
  • Support athlete accountability, preparation, and professionalism
  • Assist with planning and execution of camps, clinics, alumni events, and community outreach initiatives
  • Support game-day and event staffing needs
  • Maintain knowledge of and adherence to NCAA, ASUN Conference, and University of North Florida rules and regulations
  • Support a culture of compliance, professionalism, and integrity
