Fallbrook Union Elementary School District accepts applications for a Behavior Specialist for the 2026 Extended School Year (ESY) Special Education Program. Recruitment is open to current FUESD-contracted Behavior Specialists. Staff will be selected based on program needs and their daily availability to work the duration of the assignment. DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION: APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 20, 2026, 4:00 p.m. LENGTH OF WORK PERIOD: There will be one Mandatory Staff Meeting/Prep Day on Monday, June 1, 2026, and up to 10 Instructional Days: Monday through Friday, beginning Tuesday, June 2, 2026, and ending June 29, 2026, except for 6/19, which is a non-work day. WORK SITES: Fallbrook Stem Academy, San Onofre, Mike Choate Center WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 5.0 hours/day, 7:30 am - 12:30 pm. Time varies per site. SALARY (Range C Step 5 on Certificated Salary Schedule): 1 Staff Meeting/Prep Day paid at $62.00/hourly rate, up to 10 instructional days at $310.00 per day (based on 5.0 hours/day). REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: A California teaching credential, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Direct experience developing, implementing, and monitoring special education programs is preferred. REQUIRED CREDENTIAL: Current, valid California teaching credential and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
