About The Position

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) is accepting applications for the 2026 Lead Teacher Position for the Extended School Year (ESY) program and Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) Summer program. Selections will be made based on program needs and the candidate's availability to work for the duration of the assignment. DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION: OPEN TO INTERNAL CURRENT CONTRACTED FUESD CERTIFICATED EMPLOYEES ONLY The lead teacher assists in the overall supervision and coordination of the Extended School Year program.

Requirements

Current certificated contracted employee or substitute teacher
Staff will be selected based on program needs
Priority will be given to teachers who will work all days of the summer program

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in ESY is preferred

Responsibilities

Assigned to the site to ensure all staff, students, and parents are supported during ESY
Provide staff training
Maintain appropriate records
Create a document with all site information
Assist with supervision
Assist staff in planning programs
Assist with student behavior
Support parent requests and concerns
Assist with staffing issues
Monitor the site safety
Collaborate with all pertinent staff
Support the ELO Session I program on-site (June 8, 2026 - June 26, 2026)
