About The Position

Autism Center of Excellence is hiring a Behavior Technician (BT) to join our Fayetteville, NC clinic. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to work one -on -one with children receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Technicians work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support communication, social, and daily living skill development. This position is ideal for individuals interested in psychology, education, behavioral health, or pediatric therapy who want meaningful, hands -on experience working with children.

Schedule

Monday–Friday
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Clinic -based position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred but not required
• BT candidates will receive paid training toward RBT certification
• Experience working with children preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Experience in ABA, childcare, education, or behavioral health is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to pediatric clients ages 2–14
• Implement treatment plans developed by supervising BCBAs
• Support communication, social, and daily living skill development
• Collect and document behavioral data during sessions
• Follow behavior intervention and safety plans
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians and caregivers
• Maintain professional and timely documentation
