About The Position
The Behavioral Scientist is responsible for supporting the Behavioral Science program through clinical duties, teaching responsibilities, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provides counseling services for patients as deemed necessary by faculty.
- Develops the curriculum for medical students and the evaluation tools to monitor their progress in Behavioral Sciences.
- Develops, organizes, and implements lectures/discussion series as scheduled.
- Liaisons with psychiatrists in developing and implementing psychiatric teaching curriculum.
- Monitors the mental health of all personnel in the Residency program.
- Participates in special projects or completes other duties as assigned.
