About The Position

The BELLEROPHON Contractor Support Facility (CSF) Lead provides critical management and oversight of the personnel and functions present in Lockheed Martin's Sunnyvale, CA campus to the larger program dispersed around the world. Dedicated to the success of the missions we support, this leader interacts with a highly skilled local and remote teams to ensure effective planning, coordination, communication, and technical know how to address operations and maintenance as well enhancement projects. This leader will provide direct functional management of the local team and other personnel, as assigned. The CSF lead provides a critical bridge to the deployed Program Manager and stakeholders, preserving an effective and unified cross site team to support our customers.

Requirements

  • Experience managing the activities of technical leads, and exempt professionals, as required.
  • Guides by function practices and defined management precedents.
  • Maintains communication with internal personnel, external customers, and peers at various levels.
  • Experience working on issues of diverse scope where analysis requires evaluation of a variety of factors.
  • Advises on tasks, projects, and operations.
  • Experience being accountable for setting strategic direction, making decisions, allocating resources, fostering collaboration, and driving the achievement of organizational objective.
  • Decisions impact financial, employee, or public relations posture.
  • Serves as a consultant on highly significant matters and long-range objectives.
  • Experience with project management skills including understanding of planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk and opportunity management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with satellite operations center activities, including vehicle management, space to ground architecture and communications, high level understanding of orbital station keeping operations, cryptographical equipment, and monitor and control technologies and concepts.
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals, Risk Management Framework, and government oversight and expected compliance to IT security and hardening standards.
  • Experience managing large technical subcontracts.
  • Ability to efficiently work and communicate with a geographically diverse team across multiple time zones from the Sunnyvale facility.
