About The Position

Benefits Account Manager Position Our client, a company providing a comprehensive package of employee benefits, is currently seeking a capable and dedicated Benefits Account Manager. The role includes a fully employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage package for the employee, their spouse, and dependents, as well as 401k benefits with a match. As a key member of their team, the Benefits Account Manager will be tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of all benefits-related processes and services. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience independently managing Employee Benefits Accounts with an Independent Agency
  • Residency in the Seattle area, as this is a hybrid role with both in-office and remote work
  • Confidence in client-facing situations along with a strong ability in consulting, managing renewals, and overseeing projects

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business ranging from 50 to 400 lives
  • Set pre-renewal meetings and facilitate plan reviews
  • Consult on potential plan changes
  • Handle quotes and estimates, carrier negotiations, and benefits administration
  • Oversee open enrollments and conduct presentations
  • Ensure the accuracy of work done by third parties (e.g., HRIS data entry and rates)
