About The Position

The Mountain Bike Mechanic position is a highly-physical position which will be responsible for the continued maintenance of mountain bike rental fleet and require the applicant to lift 25 lbs daily and work outdoors. Must have a minimum of 6 months bicycle mechanic experience.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months bicycle mechanic experience required
Ability to complete required documentation in an accurate and legible manner
Maintain a neat appearance in conformance with company standards
Ability to use 2-way radio communication system (will train)
Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC’s Service Excellence standards.
Must meet SSRC minimum driving standards and have current Driver’s license; a successful motor vehicle record background check is required.
Ability to adhere to all safety polices
Must be able to communicate verbally in English
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

Responsible for continued maintenance of mountain bike rental fleet.
Responsible for retail maintenance of guests equipment.
Help with teching bike rentals when needed.
Rental and check-in of bikes and helmets.
Wash bikes.
Other duties as assigned including keeping area clean, cleaning workplace (trash, wash windows, vacuum, etc..)
