About The Position

Under the direction of the Human Resource Manager, the Human Resource Assistant is responsible for onboarding/ orientation and assisting with recruitment. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or relevant role preferred
  • Experience with HRIS software (Dynamics 365 a huge plus)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office Applications)
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills (English and Spanish)
  • Must maintain insurable driving record

Responsibilities

  • Initiate new hire process for salaried and non-bargaining hourly positions and monitor progress of pre-employment paperwork and processes. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Background Screening
  • Preemployment Drug Screening
  • Onboarding paperwork tracking
  • Own and facilitate weekly Orientation for all new hires/rehires (English and Spanish)
  • I9 Verification
  • Assist in Fleet Compliance
  • Assist current Recruiter and HR Manager with creating, maintaining job posting.
  • Review applications and resumes, coordinate efforts with hiring managers, pre-screen and interview candidates.
  • Maintain data integrity in current HRIS system, Dynamics 365
  • Assist current employees with questions and concerns as needed
  • Process all VOE requests
  • Other duties as assigned
