About The Position

The Goddard School® located at: 11225 Woodstock Road, Roswell, GA 30075 is seeking a warm, energetic, and dedicated Bilingual Infant & Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish and passionate about supporting the developmental needs of children ages 6 weeks to 3 years through play-based learning and responsive caregiving. Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (required)
  • Experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
  • Experience planning and implementing curriculum
  • Strong understanding of child development principles
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with young children

Nice To Haves

  • CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using our proprietary Wonder of Learning® curriculum to engage and support each child’s growth
  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Maintain open, effective and positive communication with families and guardians about their child’s progress and daily activities
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health and safety standards, licensing regulations and ensure their well-being
  • Participate actively in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching skills
  • Observe, assess and document children’s learning and development to inform activities and share insights with families
  • Support Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Model and implement positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution.
