The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish and passionate about supporting the developmental needs of children ages 6 weeks to 3 years through play-based learning and responsive caregiving. Requirements

Fluency in English and Spanish (required)
Experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
Experience planning and implementing curriculum
CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
Strong understanding of child development principles
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with young children

Responsibilities

Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using our proprietary Wonder of Learning ® curriculum to engage and support each child’s growth
Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Maintain open, effective and positive communication with families and guardians about their child’s progress and daily activities
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health and safety standards, licensing regulations and ensure their well-being
Participate actively in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Observe, assess and document children’s learning and development to inform activities and share insights with families
Support Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
Model and implement positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution.
