About The Position
Responsible for directing the work of the billing department with in the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Supervises billing specialists in an inpatient and/or outpatient office.
- Coordinates activities and schedules work assignments to meet billing deadlines.
- Resolves complex patient billing inquiries and problems.
- Monitors performance of staff, makes hiring decisions and conducts performance appraisals.
- Provides leadership, guidance and support focusing on quality services and compliance with company standards.
