At VIATechnik, we're redefining how infrastructure projects are designed, coordinated, and delivered. We're looking for a BIM / VDC Detailer, Civil who wants to go beyond drafting and play a key role in building intelligent, constructible models that directly impact real-world outcomes.
This isn't a traditional detailing role. You'll be at the center of model-based delivery, helping transform complex civil designs into coordinated, data-rich models that drive smarter decisions-from design through construction.

Requirements

• Experience with Civil 3D modeling (surfaces, corridors, alignments, utilities)
• Understanding of civil site design, grading, and drainage systems
• Familiarity with Navisworks and coordination workflows
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to model accuracy and quality
• Ability to collaborate across teams in a remote environment
• Curiosity and drive to learn new tools, including automation and AI

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver high-quality Civil 3D models for grading, drainage, and utility systems
• Translate engineering concepts into constructible, field-ready models and drawings
• Support clash detection and coordination across civil, structural, and MEP systems using Navisworks
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project teams to ensure real-world constructability
• Contribute to standards, QA/QC processes, and digital delivery workflows
• Leverage automation, scripting, and AI tools to improve speed, accuracy, and model intelligence

Benefits

• The pay for this position is $65,000 – $80,000, and the role is eligible for bonuses. The actual salary offer may be different as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, location, and experience
• Health insurance with the choice of five plan options. We cover 70-95% of premiums for VIATechies and 65% of the premiums for dependents (depending on the plan chosen)
• Dental and vision insurance. We cover up to 75% of the monthly insurance premiums for VIATechies and up to 50% of the premiums for dependents (depending on the plans chosen)
