About The Position

Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic Bistro Cook for our BRAND NEW assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex, opening soon! We are located in beautiful Apex just off I-540 at Hwy 64.
With our new community in the final stages of pre-opening, Calyx is looking to hire NOW Bistro Cooks who are enthusiastic about working with a small crew in our bistro, impacting the lives of seniors by preparing and presenting food. The ideal candidate would be a self- starter with past experience cooking and preparing meals in a senior living setting.

Requirements

• Cooking experience a must
• Must be able to follow recipes and plate food in an attractive manner
• Must be able to understand and comply with state regulations established for food service
• Must be able to prepare, organize and handle minimal special requests of senior residents
• Must be able to interact with residents in a professional and friendly manner
• Must be quick and efficient during peak meal service times
• Must be available to work weekends
