About The Position

The Boat Captain safely and effectively operates and manages the M/V Naiad, her crew and passengers while carrying out the sea scattering service provided to our guests. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In command of the vessel and of standing the navigational watch Ensures safety of vessel, crew, and passengers Maintains good order and accountability of all crew and passengers Operates vessel in compliance with all regulations required by the USCG

Requirements

• Training at accredited maritime institutions or equivalent on the job training
• 100 Ton Inland or Near Coastal Masters License
• FCC radio operators permit
• Radar certification
• 2 years of previous captain experience
• Rules and Regulations provided by the USCG
• Working knowledge of vessels and all machinery and instruments on board
• Safe practices and good seamanship is a must
