About The Position

Position is for a pipefitter with boilermaker experience.

Selects type and size of pipe, and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications.
Cuts pipe, using saws, pipe cutter, hammer, and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine. Threads pipe, using pipe threading machine. Bends pipe using pipe bending rolls and pipe bending machine.
Assembles and installs a variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper, and plastic.

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints and pipe and instrumentation drawings
• Ability to read measuring devices
• Knowledge of pipe schedules and base material
• Ability to set up and use a mig welding machine
• High School Diploma
• Five years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
