Food & Beverage - Bonfire Backserver/Busperson
About The Position
The Bonfire Back Server/Busperson is responsible for efficiently cleaning and resetting tables, and assisting servers when needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures dining areas are clean and sanitary, maintaining all areas to the standard set by management. Prepares dining areas for guests by cleaning, setting and prepping tables for turnover by replenishing necessary items. Enhances guest service by assisting servers with removing plates, filling glasses, and being attentive to guests needs. May be asked to assist servers with running food to tables to ensure quality of product. Completes side work duties as assigned. Remains knowledgeable on all food and beverage offerings, including wine selection and pairing options, reviewing daily changes to the menu and specials. Closely follows the F&B department health and personal hygiene policy. Other duties as directed by management. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years old.
- Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
- Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
- Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
- Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
- Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.
