The Box Machine Associate is responsible for making and building boxes for the active line. They are also responsible for loading cardboard into the machines and maintenance of the machines. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned) 70% Making boxes that come out of the box machines folding flaps, taping boxes, and sending them down the active line 20% Load the box machines with cardboard and glue. Clear any jams within the machines 10% Clean and maintain the box machines per the specifications on the machines daily and weekly Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsEducation and Experience: High school diploma or GED Basic knowledge of equipment Special Requirements: Occasional weekend work as required to meet business needs. Location: Fulton, NY Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment with a focus on meeting deadlines. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret paperwork. Maintain consistent, dependable attendance Equipment Used: Computer, telephone, pallet jack Safety Equipment: Safety shoes Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists. Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects. Light mental and visual attention required for performing work where there is some variety, but actions taken and decisions made are limited to few possibilities. Work requires some coordination with others. Environmental Conditions: Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to temperature changes and noise.
