About The Position

Liquid Environmental Solutions is a leading provider of environmentally responsible services for the removal of non-hazardous liquid waste. The Branch Operations Supervisor II – Plant Operations is responsible for supervising both branch field operations and plant operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient daily execution. This role provides direct leadership to plant operators and service technicians, oversees operational compliance, supports budget and performance objectives, and acts as a key operational leader in the absence of the Branch Operations Manager or Plant Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Waste Operator Level 1 required.
  • Minimum of three to five years of supervisory or operations management experience in a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of DOT, environmental, and safety regulations.
  • Experience managing plant or industrial operations.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • CDL A/B is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support route planning and execution while maintaining DOT and hours-of-service compliance.
  • Perform route observations and vehicle inspections, coordinate fleet maintenance, and manage operational supplies and equipment.
  • Supervise daily plant operations to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations and internal SOPs.
  • Oversee wastewater receiving, treatment, storage, and discharge activities.
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings, monitor site conditions, ensure accurate documentation, and escalate compliance concerns as appropriate.
  • Support route planning and execution while maintaining DOT and hours-of-service compliance.
  • Perform route observations and vehicle inspections, coordinate fleet maintenance, and manage operational supplies and equipment.
  • Provide direct supervision to plant operators, service technicians, and assigned staff.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, corrective action follow-up, and overtime approvals.
  • Assist with monitoring expenses, supporting budget adherence, understanding P&L performance, and compiling operational and compliance reports.
