About The Position

Based in Roselle, NJ, the Braze Assembler will perform essential job functions associated with braze assembly, under the supervision of the Production Manager, to prepare customer parts for brazing according to written requirements/specifications.

  • This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or permanent resident cardholders.
  • Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in brazing.
  • Must be able to read blueprints/specifications.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and databases, is required.
  • Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at a desk, while driving, and/or on airplane travel) in an office/industrial environment.
  • Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
  • Ability to bend, pull, stoop, climb, twist, and reach to perform functions.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
  • Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
  • Ability to hear in person and via phone.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and inspection of customer parts for brazing.
  • Preparation of customer parts for brazing according to blueprints and specifications, including cleaning and assembly.
  • Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
  • Must work in a manner consistent with the EMS.
  • This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers’ inventory and, as such, will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
  • Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.
