We are seeking a Senior Braze Optimization & Strategy Lead to provide short-term, senior platform expertise during a critical client launch and early optimization phase. This role serves as an expert overlay to ensure architectural soundness, optimization leadership, and client confidence while accelerating our teams' capability. This is a senior authority role focused on judgment, platform credibility, and client-facing guidance. Deeply experienced in Braze | Not just certified, but seasoned through multiple real-world launches and optimization cycles. Requirements

  • 8+ years in marketing automation / CRM platforms, with 4+ years hands-on in Braze
  • Participation in multiple Braze go-lives and ownership of post-launch optimization for those programs
  • Braze Practitioner Certification required
  • Strong understanding of post-launch realities: data issues, journey sprawl, trigger misuse, and customer pressure.
  • Deep expertise in Braze architecture and decisioning standard methodologies.
  • Validated ability to lead client conversations at a senior level.
  • Experience coaching in-flight teams in live environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Braze Strategist, Developer, or Technical Architect Certification strongly preferred (or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Validate Braze architecture, event taxonomy, trigger logic, and journey design for scalability and maintainability.
  • Identify and address common post-launch failure points before they surface.
  • Define an early optimization framework and prioritization approach.
  • Provide senior, client-facing leadership in optimization and decisioning conversations.
  • Coach and review the internal team’s work, shifting from correction to validation over time.
  • Establish measurement approaches and guardrails for sustainable growth within the platform.
