About The Position

This position supports manufacturing operations by performing entry-level furnace operator and assembly responsibilities in a precision manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings/blueprints, operating, training and safety manuals, documents and forms.
Ability to use hand and measuring tools
Basic math knowledge (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and converting fractions and decimals)

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a manufacturing environment and with industrial furnaces a plus.
Technical/mechanical abilities a plus

Responsibilities

Support precision, low-volume manufacturing by operating a braze furnace as part of the sub-assembly process
Perform hands-on mechanical assembly using basic hand tools while following detailed work instructions and quality standards
Accurately complete production and ISO quality documentation to ensure traceability and product integrity
Develop technical skills and knowledge of the brazing process through on-the-job training, cross-training, and hands-on exposure
Assist with inventory tracking and material handling to support efficient production flow
Adhere to all Bluefors safety guidelines, procedures, and cleanliness requirements at all times
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in alignment with 5S and manufacturing best practices
Work collaboratively with teammates, leads, and support functions to achieve daily production goals and support continuous improvement
Perform additional duties as assigned
