About The Position

The Building Maintenance Coordinator/Technician is an integral part of Honor Operations team, reporting directly to the Chief of Community Services. This role plays a crucial role in positioning our health center as a leader in progressive healthcare systems. The main objective of this position is to create an optimum environment for both our patients and staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional and cutting-edge integrated healthcare. The Maintenance Coordinator/Technician will be responsible for overseeing facility administration and operations, maintenance, space planning, utilization, as well as project management support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or certification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of previous experience in general maintenance and repair work, preferably in a healthcare or medical facility.
  • Basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC system, including operating and maintaining common hand and power tools required. Intermediate knowledge preferred.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with staff, vendors, and regulatory agencies, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service. Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read manuals and work orders.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
