About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Business Compliance plays a key role in evaluating business processes, strengthening internal controls, and supporting the company’s SOX and operational compliance activities. This role develops and executes audit procedures, analyzes complex data and workflows, and recommends process and control enhancements to reduce risk and improve efficiency. The Senior Analyst supports recurring SOX controls, designs new controls where gaps exist, and leads assigned ad‑hoc projects across the business. This position also partners closely with operational teams, provides guidance to stakeholders, and supports inventory counts at stores, distribution centers, and manufacturing sites as needed. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • At least 3 years’ related experience.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify risks and control weaknesses.
  • Experience developing and implementing process improvements.
  • Ability to mentor and develop others.
  • Experience building effective partnerships and maximizing business relationships.
  • Project and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, stay organized, and focus on details.
  • Excellent leadership and developmental skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong critical reasoning skills, independent judgment, and objectivity.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification is strongly preferred (CPA, CIA, etc.)
  • SAP experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Plan methods to be followed in the conduct of audits, recommend activities to be examined, the extent of examination and establish completion schedules.
  • Develop audit programs for specific audits or operating entities.
  • Examine records, documents, methods, policies, costs and other factors.
  • Identify process weaknesses and make process and control recommendations.
  • Prepare and enhance the existing recurring SOX controls.
  • Develop new controls to mitigate the risks identified.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  • Support the compliance function of the business units.
  • Assist with inventory counts at store, distribution, and manufacturing locations as needed
  • Assist with store and distribution audit as needed.
