About The Position

We are looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Associate to join our growing team. This is a revenue-driving role and an excellent opportunity for an early-career sales professional eager to break into the litigation finance space while developing a well-rounded skill set across sales, client engagement, and strategic business development. As a Business Development Associate, you will be on the front lines of our growth efforts — directly contributing to pipeline generation and revenue through prospecting, outreach, and client engagement. You will also serve as a critical support partner to senior leadership, helping prepare for and participate in high-level sales conversations with corporate decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1–2+ years of professional experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role (entry-level and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior executives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform
  • A self-starter mentality with a high level of initiative and comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated resilience and comfort with high-volume outreach and rejection
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting and cold calling to identify, engage, and qualify potential corporate clients
  • Draft compelling outreach emails and follow-up communications tailored to target prospects
  • Join sales calls and meetings led by C-level executives in a support capacity — taking detailed notes, capturing action items, and ensuring timely follow-ups
  • Prepare senior leadership for client-facing meetings by developing custom pitch decks, reports, and other relevant materials that support productive and positive sales conversations
  • Manage and maintain pipeline data within Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all stages of the sales process
  • Export and analyze Salesforce reports in Excel to identify trends, track performance, and communicate data-driven insights to team members and management to support strategic decision-making
  • Research and identify new business opportunities within the class action settlement landscape
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless handoff from prospect engagement to client onboarding
  • Contribute to the overall growth strategy of the firm by surfacing market insights and competitive intelligence
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation targets
  • Track key performance metrics (calls, meetings booked, conversion rates) and proactively identify areas for improvement

Benefits

  • Compensation: $75,000-100,000 + Commission + Annual Bonus (based off of years of relevant experience)
  • Hybrid Workforce; Manhattan and Garden City Locations
  • Health Insurance (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • 401K with Match
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • Training & Development
  • Wellness Resources
  • Opportunity to grow within a high-performance, revenue-focused environment
