Role Overview Gradial is looking for a Business Development Representative to help build the top of our sales funnel and introduce marketing teams to a new way of operating with AI. You’ll be on the front lines of our go-to-market motion, owning outbound prospecting and early discovery with high-impact accounts. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, resilient, and motivated by creating opportunities in a fast-moving, category-defining environment.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar revenue-facing role at a SaaS company.
  • Proven ability to prospect, engage, and qualify mid-market or enterprise buyers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear, confident outreach style.
  • High level of ownership, grit, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Coachable mindset with a desire to learn sales fundamentals and progress into a closing role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling or prospecting into Marketing, Web, or Digital teams.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology, CMS platforms, or AI-driven products.

Responsibilities

  • Own outbound prospecting across target accounts using email, phone, and social channels.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to understand pain points, use cases, and buying intent.
  • Book high-quality meetings for Account Executives by clearly articulating Gradial’s value.
  • Collaborate closely with AEs, Marketing, and RevOps to refine ICPs, messaging, and outreach strategy.
  • Maintain accurate activity, notes, and pipeline data in CRM.
  • Continuously test and improve outreach tactics in a rapidly evolving sales motion.
