About The Position

St. Christopher Parish & School in Grandview, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Business Manager to oversee and coordinate the financial operations of both the parish and school. Reporting directly to the pastor, this role is critical in ensuring the responsible stewardship of parish resources through strong accounting practices, sound budgeting, and consistent reporting. The Business Manager works closely with Diocesan offices, parish and school staff, and finance councils to support the mission and ministries of the parish.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or financial management
Proficiency with QuickBooks required
Strong organizational and analytical skills
High attention to detail and confidentiality
Ability to collaborate with both church and school leadership

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with ParishSoft, FACTS, and Paycor preferred
Experience in a nonprofit, educational, or church setting is a plus

Responsibilities

Reconcile all bank and investment accounts on a monthly basis
Record and pay invoices; issue checks as needed
Accurately record school and parish income from multiple revenue sources
Collaborate with Diocesan representatives to initiate and manage capital projects
Provide monthly financial reports to the Parish Finance Council, School Advisory Board, and Diocese
Develop and manage annual budgets for both the parish and school
Ensure compliance with all Diocesan financial policies and procedures
Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
Support payroll and benefits processing in coordination with Paycor and Diocesan HR
Assist with tuition and fee management through FACTS
Track donor contributions and parish giving in ParishSoft or related systems
