About The Position

As a Business Operations Analyst Intern, supporting business development operations across Defense & Intelligence, focused on analyzing sales data using statistical techniques, ensuring CRM opportunity and sales data integrity, and liaison support across functional support teams. DC Metro area preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data input and management.
  • Oversee daily input of data into the CRM, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and enforce protocols for data entry, validation, and maintenance.
  • Conduct routine audits of data to ensure integrity, removing duplicates and ensuring data consistency across the system.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to ensure timely updates to opportunity records and capture status
  • Analyzing data using statistical techniques and providing reports, to include Salesforce and PowerBI.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute customized reports and dashboards for sales and leadership teams.
  • Develop forecasting models and pipeline tracking mechanisms to support business development efforts.
  • Analyze CRM data to provide insights on opportunity tracking, win/loss analysis, and proposal success rates.
  • Ensure all reporting complies with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, especially as they relate to government contracts.
  • Acquiring data from primary and secondary sources to ensure reporting and forecasting is accurate.
  • Implement and monitor data quality controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all Salesforce data.
  • Regularly review data for inaccuracies, missing information, or inconsistencies and take corrective action.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve data flow processes and enhance data quality.
  • Maintain an ongoing data cleansing schedule to ensure long-term CRM data integrity.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
