The Business Operations Manager fulfills a critical role in the Payments and Identity Risk business by aggregating information and data for capacity management, quarterly and annual planning, and recurring customer engagement documentation. This role serves a key thought partner for the executive leadership of our business. Overall Purpose The Business Operations Manager role drives alignment, accelerates execution, and ensures unwavering focus on the highest-priority strategic initiatives. The role provides broad exposure to many senior leaders across the organization. As part of the Business Operations team, this role operates as an internal consultant, tackling high-impact strategic and operational initiatives that drive growth and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Planview or similar (Clarity, SPM, EPPM, etc.) with focus on demand planning, resource allocation, cost center management, and data hygiene.
  • Strong hypothesis-driven problem solving using both quantitative and qualitative approaches.
  • Proven track record of collaboration, with experience working well across diverse teams and with external partne
  • Curiosity about markets, competition, and strategy, including how companies build durable competitive advantages.
  • Excellent storytelling and executive influence skills (written memos / slide presentations / verbal communications), with the ability to synthesize complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in consulting, especially in strategy or operations roles.
  • Knowledge of the banking, payments, and/or fintech industry, with an understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.

  • Drives strategic decisions by crisply diagnosing a problem space, evaluating potential strategic responses, and outlining coherent actions and key tradeoffs.
  • Prepares business updates and assists in follow-up and resolution for specific projects and their impact on company-wide priorities.
  • Partners closely with teams across functions to influence their direction and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Presents findings and recommendations to audiences at all levels, including senior leadership, in a clear and concise manner.
