About The Position

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Business Segment Leader in Peachtree City, GA with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting. This is a General Manager-level leader responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and long-term growth of our Outdoor and Sports Lighting portfolio. This role carries full P&L accountability and sets the strategic direction of the business, driving revenue growth, profitability, innovation, and market leadership. Own the P&L for the Outdoor and Sports Lighting business, delivering revenue growth, margin expansion, and market share gains. Define and lead the multi-year business strategy, including annual operating plans, long-range growth initiatives, and capital prioritization and develop and drive the product portfolio roadmap, aligning innovation, cost targets, and customer value creation with market opportunities. Partner closely with R&D to prioritize investments, accelerate new product development, and ensure successful commercialization; lead go-to-market strategy, including pricing, positioning, messaging, and launch execution to maximize product adoption; engage deeply with Sales leadership and outdoor/sports lighting specialists to strengthen field alignment, improve win rates, and expand customer penetration. Drive cross-functional execution excellence across Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve forecast accuracy, inventory performance, service levels, and profitability. Identify and lead strategic growth initiatives and special projects, including annual strategy sessions and portfolio road mapping. Strengthen customer experience and competitive positioning through market insights, voice-of-customer engagement, and data-driven decision-making Build and develop a high-performing team and culture, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business, or Marketing preferred); MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in general management, product management, sales, or marketing within lighting, electrical, or related technical industries.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and financial acumen.
  • Proven experience identifying product-market fit and successfully bringing products to market.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional organizations and influencing without direct authority. Exceptional communication and executive presence, highly analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
