Chief Data Office The Chief Data Office (CDO) team is comprised of core functions focused on designing Wells Fargo’s future data environment. The team partners within the Technology organization to operate the infrastructure, providing analytic insights to drive and support business strategies. CDO is transforming the way that Wells Fargo uses and manages data. The work enables Wells Fargo to empower and inform our team members, deliver exceptional experiences for our customers, and meet the elevated expectations of our regulators. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers’ financial needs. Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Services Lead (BSL) to provide strategic operational support for the Enterprise Data Assets and Services organization. The Enterprise Data Assets and Services team delivers and maintains a centrally-governed, consumable suite of enriched data products, by providing multiple business enterprise assets, including enterprise authorized data sources (i.e., party, interaction data, reference and market data). This team also maintains all technology requirements for all CDO data assets. This role provides the Enterprise Data Assets and Services leader and their leadership team exceptional operational services and capabilities that amplify our impact, drive excellence, and ensure our technology initiatives are delivering business value. BSL's independently drive execution, provide leadership on strategic objectives, drive fiscal responsibility, help manage the third-party portfolio, and shepherd talent-related execution work. In this role, you will: Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to executive leadership and their team. Function as an operational linchpin and strategic facilitator fundamental to the efficiency and effectiveness of the teams supported requiring strong knowledge and understanding of technology operations, product models, annual planning, workforce and staffing, and budget insight. Deliver operational oversight and execution for your aligned leader acting as the point of contact for all BSL functions including strategy, communications, workforce management, risk and control, demand management, financial management, employee engagement and reporting. Provide executive support for special initiatives, engagement related activities, and ad-hoc operational requests. Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in depth evaluation and cross channel collaboration. Engage with the technology leaders to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business and for execution of operational processes. Advise and influence leadership in support of developing programs that are effective and efficient for highly complex business and technical needs across one or more lines of business.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Understanding of regulatory compliance, security, and privacy requirements within the financial services sector
