About The Position

This position, located in Rocky Mount, involves a variety of administrative functions that allow the Rocky Mount CDSA, to maximize agency revenues through reimbursement for services. This position is supervised by the Business Officer and in turn supervises others who are responsible for billing and reimbursement for agency services. Work requires the development of strategies to ensure that all sources of reimbursement are accessed and secured. This position is responsible for contact and relationships with representatives from payer sources including public insurance and numerous private insurance companies to develop effective billing practices and to resolve billing disputes. Parent fees are another source of agency revenue, and this position manages all related processes, including oversight of application of sliding fee scale payments. This position manages the daily billing processes including distribution and monitoring of work and supervising billing support staff. In addition, this position administers and coordinates a variety of business and fiscal functions for the CDSA. The work requires a working knowledge of applicable policies, procedures and information systems related to budget management, accounts payables, accounts receivable, cash management, internal controls, purchasing/contracting, and third-party billing. The range of duties includes but is not limited to, financial and program coordination, customer service, purchasing, reporting, records management, and closely related functions.

Requirements

  • High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of related administrative experience OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of applicable policies, procedures and information systems related to budget management, accounts payables, accounts receivable, cash management, internal controls, purchasing/contracting, and third-party billing.
