About The Position

We are seeking a cabling/access control technician with 3-5 years of experience to support major commercial projects across the Charleston region, including significant work at the Charleston International Airport and multiple school districts. Technicians will work on a wide range of security and low-voltage installations, including structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and door hardware.

Must have basic hand tools; specialized tools provided.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems, including Cat5/Cat6, fiber, and structured cabling.
Perform access control installations (Lenel, S2, Genetec, Software House, Avigilon).
Install and configure VMS systems (IP/analog cameras, head-end equipment).
Install and service door hardware, including: Electrified locks
Readers
Strikes
Crash bars
Sensors
Door brakes
Work with commercial-grade hardware from Allegion and ASSA ABLOY.
Complete terminations, testing, labeling, and documentation.
Follow project plans when acting as part of a team or when the company serves as the GC.
Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and strong communication with project managers.
Travel to various job sites; technicians may park at Tanger Mall and ride in a company vehicle to the airport project.
Report to the office and use company vehicles when work outside the Charleston area is required.
