Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Actively enrolled in a criminal justice or law enforcement program in college.

Responsibilities

• Courtroom security and bailiff operations, inmate transport support, and learning judicial procedures.
• Assist staff with administrative and support tasks, booking and inmate movement, and learn correctional operations under supervision.
• Participate in supervised rides along with patrol deputies to observe calls for service, traffic enforcement, and community policing.
• Assist with community outreach, traffic control, administrative tasks, and public service events.
• Observe investigative processes, case preparation, and evidence handling procedures.
• Participate in orientation, safety training, ethics instruction, and agency-approved learning activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
