About The Position

Position Overview: The CBG Camp Counselor assists Camp Programs with daily camper drop off and pick up, serve as an instructional aide, and supervise lunch. Camp CBG is a specialized program of the Education Department that focuses on the development, delivery, and evaluation of outdoor science, nature, art, and food-based educational programs for children ages 2 to 15.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience working with or teaching children.
  • Must enjoy working with people of all ages.
  • A reputation for punctuality, flexibility, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily drop off and pick up of campers.
  • Greet and welcome parents and campers.
  • Supervise campers during lunch period.
  • Assist camp instructors in executing all camp activities and functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Position is 6.5 hours per day, seasonal, from June 8 through August 7, 2026.
