GradePower Learning Cary is looking for an energetic, creative, and organized Camp Coordinator & Instructor to lead our premier English Language & Creativity camps. We are looking for an educator who can transform "boring" writing into an adventure and turn a shy student into a confident debater. Position Requirements: This isn't your average "sit and work" tutoring role. You will be the architect and the face of our specialty camps. Your mission: to design and deliver high-energy sessions that focus on: Creative Writing & Storytelling: Helping students find their voice through narrative and imaginative play. The Power of Persuasion: Teaching the fundamentals of Debate , Group Discussion , and Public Speaking . Academic Foundations: Masterclasses on paragraph structure and formal Essay Writing . Camp Coordination: Managing schedules, organizing materials, and ensuring a fun, safe, and productive environment for all campers. Who You Are An Expert Communicator: You know your way around an Oxford comma, but you also know how to command a room. A Creative Spirit: You can design curriculum that makes learning "The Art of the Paragraph" feel like a game. A Natural Leader: You enjoy coordinating logistics and leading a group of young, curious minds. Experienced: You have a background in Education, English, Communications, or a related field (Prior experience with GradePower or similar learning centers is a huge plus!). We encourage you to apply if you have the majority of the following requirements: Education : Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered Teaching certification an asset Good knowledge of the current first grade to 12th grade curriculum Experience : Some experience teaching/tutoring at a first grade to 12th grade (or equivalent) level Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students' understanding Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time Smiles, High-Fives & Happy Students: In this position, you will play a key role in helping students develop their self-confidence and self-esteem.
