About The Position
Caregiver Med-Tech - $6,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment). Butler, PA Caregiver Med Tech Pay Rate starting at $18.00 per hour. Full-Time, 4-10-hour shifts; 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., every week, with an extended weekend off every other weekend. Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania. Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty. Licensed personal care community opening in the Fall of 2025 with accommodations for 29 individuals needing more support with activities of daily living. Located near the Benbrook Medical Center Complex in Butler, PA. Comfortable and home-like environment offering a person-centered approach to care. Enhances the abundant life of residents by providing assistance through performance of routine direct and indirect resident activities according to established policies and procedures. Maintains resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality. Promotes resident acceptance of support plans and responds promptly to overall resident needs. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) as per regulation.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Successful completion of state medication approved administration course and direct care programs.
- CPR/First Aide or successful completion after hire.
- Basic knowledge of computers required.

- Experience with service for elders is preferred.
