Requirements

  • Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
  • Comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Above all, we value candidates who demonstrate compassion, reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication assistance, dementia care, autism support, or social work is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor clients and record vital signs as required
  • Assist with medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations
  • Prepare nutritious meals based on individual dietary requirements and assist with meal planning
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment through light housekeeping
  • Safely operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or other transfer equipment
  • Document client progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental and emotional well-being
  • Follow individualized care plans for clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory-related conditions
  • Assist with transportation to medical appointments or community activities when needed
  • Follow all safety procedures, including CPR and First Aid protocols
