About The Position

Requirements
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
- Comprehensive training will be provided.
- Above all, we value candidates who demonstrate compassion, reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication assistance, dementia care, autism support, or social work is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor clients and record vital signs as required
- Assist with medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals based on individual dietary requirements and assist with meal planning
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment through light housekeeping
- Safely operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or other transfer equipment
- Document client progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental and emotional well-being
- Follow individualized care plans for clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory-related conditions
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments or community activities when needed
- Follow all safety procedures, including CPR and First Aid protocols
