Your primary focus is delivering high-quality carpentry work while maintaining a safe and organized job site. This position offers consistency, meaningful work, and long-term career growth – ideal for a skilled carpenter committed to excellence. The Carpenter Mechanic role requires the demonstrated ability to work carefully, communicate effectively, follow safety protocols, and maintain a professional appearance. This role is intended to be a full-time hourly position, based at the job site, reports to the Project Lead, and works closely with the rest of the onsite team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of carpentry experience (finish carpentry preferred; rough or punch-out also considered)
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
- Able to lift 50–100 lbs regularly
- Own basic carpentry hand tools
- 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Must already reside in the state of Hawaii
Responsibilities
- Perform finish carpentry work, including trim, doors, vanities, and cabinetry
- Repair and replace interior structures damaged during projects
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other materials
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
- Follow project plans, review blueprinting, and instructions
- Assist and collaborate with other trades on-site
- Maintain, foster, and develop productive relationships including with co-workers, other departments, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
