Your primary focus is delivering high-quality carpentry work while maintaining a safe and organized job site. This position offers consistency, meaningful work, and long-term career growth – ideal for a skilled carpenter committed to excellence. The Carpenter Mechanic role requires the demonstrated ability to work carefully, communicate effectively, follow safety protocols, and maintain a professional appearance. This role is intended to be a full-time hourly position, based at the job site, reports to the Project Lead, and works closely with the rest of the onsite team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of carpentry experience (finish carpentry preferred; rough or punch-out also considered)
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
  • Able to lift 50–100 lbs regularly
  • Own basic carpentry hand tools
  • 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Pass background check and drug screening
  • Reliable transportation to job sites
  • Must already reside in the state of Hawaii

Responsibilities

  • Perform finish carpentry work, including trim, doors, vanities, and cabinetry
  • Repair and replace interior structures damaged during projects
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other materials
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
  • Follow project plans, review blueprinting, and instructions
  • Assist and collaborate with other trades on-site
  • Maintain, foster, and develop productive relationships including with co-workers, other departments, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
